Welcome to Neither Fish Nor Foul, home of a slightly drunk bear. We're always open for submissions - Cap'n Dave is a hungry bear.

We produce six issues each year.

We won't always have a theme, but for our first issue we thought a broad 'mood' might help. Our first issue goes live in October so we want stories about 'what scares you'. But we don't want vampires, zombies and ghosts. We want those weird things that shouldn't scare you but somehow do - your atypical fears, your squirrels and jelly (although one of us really doesn't want those things because they scare her witless.)

So, stories about the teddy your Nan gave you that made you cry or the noise your washing machine makes that sounds like a punctured lung or the horrifying idea of eating lamb because you are convinced that's what human flesh tastes like. Or great big piles of buttons. The submission page will give you all the details....
