Another really strong set of submissions for this issue. Thank you so much to everyone who sent me their words.
As ever, my current preoccupations became apparent as I prepared this edition. A wistfulness about time passing, a weakness for furry mammals and a definite penchant for both sly humour and glimmers of hope.
We are especially lucky that one of the last stories I accepted turned out to belong to the brilliant Amy Marques, who generously offered to illustrate the whole issue. I love her images and how they work with the stories. You can find more about her work here
